It is a great milestone – this day, the beginning of a new decade for you. So much past…so much to come. I hope we give you gifts of peacefulness and belonging, gifts of laughter and perspective.
ReplyDeleteThere is a line in the movie Bagger Dan where a child explains what is so great about golf – why it is the “greatest game there is.” It’s because it’s a game that can’t be won – only played ~ where you keep the score and you can call a penalty on yourself…and most people are honest and do. It’s a game that even when you walk the same path, each day is different, and each day you have a chance to play your game – the one that you were born to pay – the one that is your own authentic game…the one that makes you who you are. Let this day be one where you breathe in the peacefulness of this new year, the joy of being alive, faith in all there is.
